L3 Remote Pre-amplifier Kit This version of our transformer coupled output pre-amplifier takes our L3 Line Mk2 pre-amplifier (see below) and adds high quality remote control capabilities. The L3 Remote and its couterpart the L3 Line MkII are the ultimate in Audio Note DIY engineering. AudioNote Kits has adopted the Audio Note shunt volume control (used in Audio Note's most expensive M9 and M10 preamplifiers) and built a microprocessor switching system around it. The system uses very high quality audio relays to ensure it contributes no degradation to the signal. The output transformers are available with either I/E cores or Hi-B C-Cores with balanced or non-balanced output.

L3 Line Pre-Amplifier Kit The L3 Line Pre-amplifier Kit (along with its couterpart the L3 Remote Pre-amplifier Kit) offers the highest standard of pre-amplification. It uses the same power supply used in the acclaimed Audio Note M2 that uses 6X5 for tube rectification and the ECL82 for regulation. It also uses the M3 line board (5687 based) to drive 33:1 output transformers. The output transformers are available with either I/E cores or Hi-B C-Cores with balanced or non-balanced output. An Input Selector Extender is used that moves the ELMA input selector switch to the very back of the chassis - allowing for extremely short input wiring whilst still leaving the actual selector knob on the front panel. We then use one high quality screened cable to take the switched signal to the front of the chassis.

L2 Pre-amplifier Kit The all-new L2 Pre-Amplifier Kit has now replaced the original Audio Note Pre-Amplifier kit that was introduced in early 90’s. It is the culmination of years of feedback from kit builders around the world. The L2 Pre-Amplifier Kit provides 1 optional phono input and up to 5 additional line-level inputs and now comes standard with the ever popular M2 power supply. The L2 Pre-Amplifier Kit is available in a number of configuration options - with or without phono stage.
