I have been the happy owner of a Kit 4 for about 7 years now. Many
friends
have commented on how great my system sounds and I tell them all to get
the
kit and build the amp themselves. The only trouble was that, for a while
you
couldn't find the kit 4 anywhere. It's great to see that you are making
them
available again.
FYI, I replaced the signal caps with paper in oils and this was a huge
improvement. Also, after rolling all different kinds of N.O.S. tubes
through
this thing I have settles on Brimar 12AX7's, the famous TungSol
round-plate
6SN7 (these really are as good as their reputation), and a quad of RCA
VT-107's (6V6GT).
