Adding Transformer Covers Support Information

The following sequence of pictures shows the correct method of removing the brackets and then adding the optional covers to the transformers.

General Overview

You basically need to take the brackets off the transformer and replace them with the optional covers. Best bet is to use some good tools for the task (i.e. socket set). When the brackets are off, you should cover over the exposed copper transformer wire with electrical tape (a couple layers) so that it does not touch the cover. Take the bracket screws with insulators and place back to secure covers on transformer - see below for step-by-step instructions.

• The brackets attached to the transformer must come off
• You will need to use proper tools
• Hold one bolt while unscrewing the other
• Notice the bolt that comes out has a red insulator
• Remove all the bolts and make sure you get the insulators if they are stuck to the bracket
• Gently "hammer" off the bracket as the transformer glue is holding it in place
• Remove the brackets
• You need to use electrical tape to cover over the exposed copper transformer wires (o/p TX) so they dont touch the cover
• After taping gently slide the cover on fitting the wire through the grommeted holes in the cover
• Place screw back in place with bolt, red insulator, cover, TX, cover, red insulator, bolt
